How To Live In The Moment and Why?



Hello :)

How are you?

Today I have a nice article to share with you.
Its about living in the moment.

Some friends already ask me, (because they know I'm on this stuff)
If they should live in the moment.
My answer is allays the same. ''where else can you live?''
It's impossible to live in the past, and impossible to live in the future.

Well...
You can try, but you will just live inside your head.
You have to grow up and realize that the past is only inside your head.
It's only imagination. ISN'T REAL.
Life is outside of your head.
The Present moment is where everything happens, is where life happens, is where
your friends are, is where your opportunities are!

Therefore, if you are grasping in your past you will not perceive the moment as it is.
You will just see a litle, very litele part of it, and therefore miss-interpret it
And you will miss life completly.
If you live worried about the Future, you only create unnecessary anxaety.
Have no point trying to anticipate life, you have to realize that is just
a way to your Ego finds itself secure, making plans to preserve something
bad to happen.

It's just nonsense, no one will be happy living that way.



First thing, we have to realize that all of us have this 2 impulses. (Past, Future illusion thinking)
Nothing bad with that! That's  a common thing.

But as soon you bring this impulses to your consciousness they can't control you.
Push your attention back to where you are now! what you're doing now?
What you're thinking now? what you're feeling now?

For us to advance in consciousness we need to live more consciously in every moment :) Great news!

So, The Present Moment is The only place you will find what you need. Everithing. Believe me.




Now..

I will give you some tips to live more Present. (Aleluia) :D




1- Be aware of your thinking mood.
(This is good, try not to get oblivious during your day, it's called Self-awareness )



2-Cosnciously move your attention tho the present moment.

(what you doing in the moment. i.e pealing a potato, having a dialog,
walking on the street, what ever it is. Just be more fully in the now)



3- Give some attention to your body.

(Just feel your body, or just sit and relax.)



4- Peripheral vision.

(this is a kind of contemplation. you just look forward and pay attention to
the totality of your vision, central and peripheral)



5- Practice Meditation.

(one definition that i like for meditation is jut bring my self back to where I am.
Now! You have to see meditation as that, an exercise to bring you to the present moment.
just that...



6- Less TV and music!

(this is the greatest! well for someone who is really interested on consciousness
evolution, this is very important.  Seeing less TV makes your thoughts easier to contemplate)
Therfore you are more conscious in daily life.

How to be happy!


Phylosofy of life. (First Step)
Stop a little bit, relax.
Consider the options what you have now
Chose the one that make you feel more excitement.
no excuses.
Everyday process, this is going to help you change your vibration to a more positive one.
Then listen ''Alegria by Cirque du Soleil ''

Excitement is a quality of your true self, if you follow excitement you're getting closer of it.


Emotional feelings.

Like I said in the previews post.
If you feel one emotion allow it. never denial never wish that should be diferent.
Then repeat the first step again.

Meditation.

If you like to do meditation and already do it, nice!
If you don't, start to do it :)
It helps you rising you vibration and helps you get closer to love!
that is another quality of your true self
About meditation techniques, my advice is to find your own style
Don't try to concentrate to much or make your mind go silent.. its all about let things happen.
Find your own style! Meditation is about letting go the control.

By the way, you can meditate everywhere! Just learn how to do it.

then listen ''Alegria by Cirque du Soleil '' again ahahahah :D


Negative people.

Don't have to hate them or try to change them.
If you can, avoid them.
If you can't, and you believe that they can cause harm to you, find the belief and change it!
At the same time accept the person inconditionaly, you're going to find that nothing have to be
taken personaly. NEVER.


Negative Music/Movies/Games.

No excuses .. Stop seeing them they just going to push you back to your old vibration.
Change your Play-list to a more positive one.
See movies such as , ''Peacefull warrior'' ''Big Blue'' ''Forest gump'' and so on :)
Movies that inspire you!
Not movies that get you Brainwashed!
Trust me! Big difference in this one :)

Emotional Well-Being

For us Humans, emotions are the main drive to make real connections.
Friendships, Intimate relationships etc...

In my entire life, I was very oblivious about emotions.

2 years ago when I started my own path on personal growth, I read about negative emotions and positive emotions,
and the goal then, was shift them from negative ones to the positive ones. Using goal achievment, learning how to be and think positive and above all, making
visualizations.

In spite of feeling this good emotions such as entusiasm, motivation and even compassion sometimes, negative feelings dosen't disappear for ever.
Emotions such as anger, apathy, guilt or sadness kept coming and arising, and even when I tried to change them or control them
I could feel that something was controlling me and affecting the quality of my day.


See..
The problem is that We keep judging those natural emotions as something bad, that wasn't supposed to be there.
And we denial them and wish that the emotions should desapear. (Yes we do, and we are not aware of it)
There is nothing wrong with that. But if you look for peace and well being as I do, that's not what you want to do at all!
Try to control or repress those feelings, just make us more uncosncious.
Being ignorant about emotions make us being in the same level that everyone else is. Even if we are good dealing with thoughts,
Ego and general life. Because an emotion, have allot more power than a thought!


I was in that struggle for a long time, and in my opinion society makes the people completely ignorant about themselvs, brainwashing them
in a system, that make them look for external causes to blame them for their feelings!
If you feel anger ''It's that thing or person  that make me feel this''

So...I know that the people normally don't verbalize it this way, but you get the idea!



Reacting that way, we may NEVER find well being, because we are putting all our power away.
Instead, if we don't blame nothing ''out there''  now we have the power to deal with it.
I know its a bit odd but, most of the times we don't even realize that we are being controlled by emotions, through our
uncosciousness. But we are!

If we start to REALLY ACCEPT reality as it is (instead of denial, hide some things here and repress another there), we
shif in  to a new paradigm of life! 
We start to really see the things as they are, and instead of perception, we get essence and that brings allot of insight.


So.. this process reveals to be  effective not only for our ''external'' life as well to the ''interior'' life.
When an emotion arise , we don't denial or repress,we don´t think the feeling is wrong and it wasn't supposed to be there,
 we just focus on it and embrace what is, let it be and accept it deeply.
Force needs contrur-force to exist. We just focus on the feeling and accept it. she shall succumb to it self, like magic!
There are feelings that we are afraid of, or we prefer to ignore and repress. Courage is needed!

Never turn your face to what is!! Even if it is hard!



We're going to find great insight on this process, and our natural power is going to gently come for us again!



Of course! A minimum level of self-awareness is required!
Or else you don't even know you're feeling an emotion!
And that's what happens to many many people! They don't even know what they are feeling.

This process is called Contemplation! And If you want to be the Love that you are, Contemplation as to be your lifestyle!
And what a great lifestyle it is!
